Down on the farm

Today Laurel and I went peach pickin' at Hollin Farms out in Delaplane, Virginia. It was a perfect day - an usually cool 80 degrees with no humidity. I love getting out to the country; the Virginia piedmont is so beautiful.

We saw lots of butterflies.
We also picked blackberries (these obviously weren't ripe yet).
And they had pick-your-own corn.

I came back with quite a few peaches. I already made a pie, but I'm not sure what I'll do with the rest.
