Audra invited me to be on her team for the Great DC Treasure Hunt this past Saturday, a fundraiser supporting Goals for Ghana. And not to toot my own horn, but she made a wise decision. We totally kicked butt! We came in first place by a wide margin. (We got done so early that we were back at "home base" before the staff was. So yeah, we were pretty awesome. )
The above picture was one of our challenges. We had to get a picture of our team with everyone's feet off the ground. (Heather, do you recognize that street? It's your old 'hood!)
Another task was posing with the Washington Monument in various positions. I was supposed to hold it in my hand.
Even though it was hot and gross outside, I had a blast. I wish I could these types of things all the time. Now I know why my sister is so addicted to those Mouse Adventure things at Disneyland. :)
