Spring training is officially underway!! The Nats are working out in lovely Viera, Florida, at Space Coast Stadium. While spring training itself is not all that exciting, it's nice to have some daily baseball news to read. I know a lot of people are saying that we're going to be worse than the '06 Royals this year (i.e., the worst of the worst), but I think we're going to surprise a lot of people. I'm not saying we're going to be contenders, exactly, but I don't think we'll be the embarrassment that everyone is predicting. Anywho, for those interested parties, I recommend checking out the spring training journal of Washington Post writer Barry Svrluga. It's very insightful and entertaining.
