Holiday Baking

Last weekend I was suddenly hit with the holiday baking bug. I think the dropping temperatures and the near-constant Christmas commercials have triggered some kind of compulsion in me.

I recently attended a Christmas market at the Czech Embassy where I had a delicious Linzer cookie (yeah, that's right - I was at the Czech Embassy; NBD). So I decided to try my hand at making said delicious cookies. I used this recipe from Land O' Lakes, mainly because it was one of the few I could find that didn't require a food processor. Rolling out the dough and assembling the cookies was quite a lengthy process, but overall it was fairly easy. And they came out perfectly, if I don't mind saying so myself. :)
