This afternoon I went to the ballet at the Kennedy Center - it was a showcase of the top ballet academies from around the world. And it was exquisite. I love being able to experience the rich culture that DC has to offer. The Kennedy Center, situated on the banks of the Potomac, is such a great venue. The rooftop terrace offers spectacular views of the surrounding area.

Memorial Bridge and Arlington beyond.
The Opera House was beautiful. I was especially fascinated by the chandeliers.
I wish I could afford to go to the theater all the time!
